How to care for your lips?

Like all other parts of the body, lips are especially strongly exposed to various negative external influences: dust, sun, wind, frost and much more. Of course, this does not have the best effect on the skin of the lips, their color and beauty. To avoid this, you need to systematically care for your lips, take care, “groom them and cherish.”

Fundamentals
The skin of the lips is divided into dry and oily. If there are no special problems with fatty ones, then dry ones must be lubricated with high-quality creams, otherwise they will begin to crack and peel off, and even a very expensive and beautiful lipstick will not help you.

Regular care of the skin of the lips will help to maintain their shape and freshness for longer. What does care for our sponges include? First of all, these are procedures such as gymnastics and massage.

Gymnastics
Specialists distinguish two main methods of gymnastics for the lips.

First complex

1. You need to stretch your lips forward and gently blow. Imagine that you are blowing fluffs from a dandelion or extinguishing the fire of a candle. Repeat this exercise is recommended at least 40 times.

2. The next step: you need to deeply breathe air and puff out your cheeks. It is recommended to exhale air first gradually and slowly, and then with jerks. We recommend doing the exercise 20 times.

3. In the last exercise, the following letters are pronounced 10-15 times in succession: O, U, I, A. Do not forget that at the end of the gymnastics you need to puff out your cheeks, gaining air, and sharply release it through your strongly compressed lips so that they are slightly vibrated.

Second complex

1. As in the first case, you need to stretch your lips forward and slightly open your mouth. Here you can recall the fish thrown ashore. Next, release and close your lips. Repeat this exercise at least 20 times better.

2. Next, train the lower jaw. Move it with your lips to the left, then to the right about 20 times in both directions.

3. It is necessary to stick out the tongue, and as far as possible and try to hold it in this position for at least 2-3 seconds, then put the tongue back and relax your mouth for two seconds. We recommend repeating this exercise 5-6 times.

And here are some more exercises for training the labial muscles.

The first exercise: for six seconds you should strongly blow out the air, then relax, open your mouth, stretch your lips over your teeth and smile.

The second exercise is suitable for home or garden, but in no case for public places. It consists in daily light whistling.

Massage
To ensure good blood supply to the lips and to preserve their natural pink color, it is recommended to massage them in circular motions daily in the morning and evening with a piece of terry towel or with a dry toothbrush. Beauticians advise taking the following procedure as a habit: while brushing your teeth, you can pat your lips with a brush. This will help to avoid early efforts.

It helps to maintain freshness and improve blood circulation in the skin with a light minute massage made by the fingertips with quick sweeping movements.

After the massage procedure, it is necessary to lubricate the lips with a fat cream, and it is better to hold it for 10 minutes, which will provide nutrition and make up for moisture.

Natural masks for the home
So that the lips do not dry out and always have a natural shine, a mixture of carrot or cucumber juice, cottage cheese, sour cream and honey will help. All ingredients mix well and apply to the skin for about 15 minutes, then the lips are lubricated with vegetable or olive oil.

It perfectly fights against cracks and softens the skin of the lips with a mask from one teaspoon of softened butter with a rubbed apple. The mass is applied for 20-30 minutes, then washed off with warm water.

To smooth the skin and give lips freshness, take the curd with cream. It will be enough just a spoonful of such a mixture. The mask is applied to the entire surface of the lips for 10 minutes.
